Structural adhesives are classified differently based on their constituent materials. Currently, there are various types of structural adhesives available on the market, and many customers are unsure how to purchase them? Therefore, the structural adhesive equipment manufacturer is here to teach everyone how to classify structural adhesives, and we look forward to providing some assistance to everyone!

1. Epoxy resin adhesive structural adhesive

Low relative tensile strength; Good heat resistance - maintaining organic chemical reliability even at 121 ℃ and 204 ℃; Excellent solvent resistance; Good adhesion to porous structural plates; The bonding of most raw materials is good, but the surface must be clean.

2. Polyurethane material structural adhesive

Can achieve very high tensile strength while still maintaining the characteristics of structural adhesive; Adhesive thermosetting plastics and thermosetting plastics have good performance; Metal materials that have not been treated cannot produce long-lasting adhesion; It can operate at temperatures up to 120 ℃.

3. Anaerobic adhesive structural adhesive

Practical operation is simple, easy to store, highly compliant, and conducive to stopping assembly line operations; Non flammable and explosive materials, active solvent coatings, non evaporating, zero pollution during actual operation; Active solvent coatings have low toxicity and side effects, minimal damage, zero pollution, and are widely used for sealing, clamping, holding, bonding, and leak repair. The adhesive has a long storage period.

4. Polyurethane resin

Hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive combines the characteristics of hot melt sol and polyurethane resin, with active solvent, zero pollution, and convenient application. It can be used for wiping in a molten state, and after cooling and drying, it can release slight finger pressure massage to have adhesive effect. Its application range is very wide.

5. Instant drying glue

The drying speed is faster, the adhesive compressive strength is high, and the actual operation is simple, convenient, practical, and good anti-aging performance.

6. Acrylic structural adhesive

Quick drying and high compressive strength, it can be fixed in the early stage in about five minutes, reach 80% compressive strength after thirty minutes, and have a larger compressive strength after twenty-four hours; Good corrosion resistance, water and oil resistance, stronger heat resistance and aging resistance, strong adhesion to the middle of metal materials, good impact resistance and compression strength, good heat resistance and cold resistance compared with epoxy resin adhesive, working at -30~150 ℃.

7. Silicone structural adhesive

As a "prefabricated component" for connecting and transmitting loads between glass curtain walls and backed aluminum alloy profiles, it must have very high tensile and shear strength, as well as resistance to continuous tensile, shrinkage, and detachment compressive strength. It is also necessary to have a high elastic mold that can maintain its adhesive basic shape under high positive and negative polar stresses, avoiding the cracking of laminated glass due to excessive deformation.
